Both, and the split matters. We list the base occupancy on proper beds and the extra-mattress count separately, so a villa listed at 16 guests might be 8 on beds plus 8 mattresses on the floor.
Midweek, often yes. On weekends most properties enforce two nights, and over Diwali, Christmas and New Year the minimum is usually three.
